All clans in Scotland have a clan motto and crest. The Hendersons were thought to originate in Caithness, Glencoe, the Shetlands, Liddlessdale and Fordell. They were generally known as ferocious fighters, were bodygaurds of the chief of the Macdonalds and were well known for their piping prowess. So you have definitley come to right place to find your wedding piper. The clan motto: Sola Virtus Nobilitat (Virtue Alone Enobles)

The Great Highland Bagpipe, once declared as a weapon of war after the Battle of Culloden (1746) is an instrument that is sure to stir emotion and when played properly make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. It is unclear how Bagpipes arrived in Scotland, however, it is thought they may have originated in ancient Egypt around 400 BC and were later brought to Britain by the invading Romans, although, it is also thought that Irish tribes colonising Scotland may have introduced them to ancient Scotland. Historically, bagpipers have been performing at weddings, fairs and feast for hundreds of years.

Modern day weddings in Scotland and across Britain now incorporate wedding pipers as key components of the wedding day. Many brides now choose to include a piper on their wedding day to build a sense of occasion, to entertain their guests and to allow smooth transitions to other key aspects of the day.  Key parts of your wedding day that you may wish to utilise a piper may include:

Aberdeen City and Shire | Argyll & The Isles | Ayrshire & Arran | Dumfries & Galloway | Dundee & Angus | Edinburgh & The Lothians | Greater Glasgow & The Clyde Valley | The Highlands | The Kingdom of Fife | Loch Lomond, The Trossachs, Stirling & Forth Valley | Orkney | Outer Hebrides | Perthshire | The Scottish Borders |Shetland |Edinburgh | Glasgow | Aberdeen | Dundee | Paisley | East Kilbride| Livingston| Cumbernauld | Hamilton | Kirkcaldy | Dunfermline | Ayr | Perth | Kilmarnock | Inverness | Greenock | Coatbridge | Glenrothes | Airdrie | Falkirk | Stirling |Irvine | Rutherglen | Dumfries | Motherwell |Musselburgh | Arbroath | Elgin | Renfrew | Alloa |Dumbarton | Peterhead | St Andrews | Troon |Galashiels| Linlithgow | Fraserburgh | Montrose | Stonehaven | Stranraer | Fort William | Forres | Nairn | Cupar | Haddington | Lanark | Peebles | Oban | Dunbar | Thurso | Brechin | Wick | Kirkwall | Lerwick | Stornoway| Campbeltown|
